Killawatt - Untitled

stepping his game up recently

top draw production

Deep dark sounds from the man Killawatt, definitely doing big stuff right now, big up Grimewave for pointing us in the direction of this one.

Vanity - Early Mornings (Free Download)

The excellent Vanity  is giving away his track Early Mornings for free! This is a great little tune with a nice deep vibe to it, rich basses and tight percussion alongside the mellow, Aphex Twin style synths really push this track out there - Grab it above

Jam Baxter - Brains

The Gruesome Features is something we’re looking forward to MAHOOSIVELY. The video for the track ‘Brains’ dropped the other day, featuring Sammy B Side on the cuts and the most excellent Illinformed on the buttons - it looks awesome and has a bunch of references for all the old High Focus fans - though it still pains me to see melons treated badly.

You can pre-order the Limited Edition EP (Believe me, you’ll want to) over at High Focus. It’s on vinyl, which is really really really dope - that’s for sheezy sure - and comes with a dropcard for the whole album in digital format and 5 instrumentals on the flipside.

Granville Sessions

Reppin’ for the tinny squad - Granville Sessions have proven themselves to be one of the best Live UK Hip Hop acts of recent years and have definitely shown it by performing alongside some big names including Jehst, Congo Natty, Pharoah Monch, Necro and even Coki.

Granville’s debut album ‘No State’ is a great introduction to their sound, covering all aspects of their influences, from straight up hard-hitting Hip Hop to a more dubby vibe. With a full band including Drums, Bass, Horns, Keys and even a Live MPC - Granville’s shows are awesome!

Grime-step-hop-funk dude Capeton has been producing for a little while now and has a huge mixture of different sounds being cooked up in his studio. He always manages to put out something fresh with every upload and is improving in skill at an incredibly rate.

Colo bring an absolutely awesome future sound to the table, a mix between house, future garage and some classic dubstep vibes, their deep, dark sound will draw you in from the get go. We were honoured to have them play their Debut DJ Set at our first birthday party in 2012.
